Breakdance collective 155 (yes, the one from the Golden Cricket winner CONTROLE) is back with JOHNNY - a show that will make your cynical millennial heart beat faster.
In it, five stuntmen, with balls of steel (and maybe a little brain damage), await their big moment in an action film. But between the backflips, falls and laughs, the question arises: How many hits do you have to take to prove you're not a pussy? How do you stay yourself when you are always in someone else's shadow? More importantly, what good is a perfectly executed stunt if you've been dumped by your ex?
In a world of filters and facades, 155 brings a show that is real. For everyone who grew up with MTV but now discusses gentrification. For those who like to give a big middle finger to conventions. For those who love culture that doesn't tolerate bullshit.
Think a mash-up of Jackass, Buster Keaton and Jackie Chan. Bring your partner, friends or that colleague who's never been to theatre - this is culture without the attitude.
