A beautiful venue was created on the second floor of Maaspoort in 2015. A contemporary venue where people of all ages and cultures feel connected.

designed by Pure Outdoor Design

The rooftop bar was designed and realised by Pure Outdoor Design. The driving forces behind Pure Outdoor Design are Barbara Sprengers (responsible for styling) and Erwin Stam (responsible for design). Erwin was a guest on RTL4 Eigen Huis en Tuin as one of the 10 most inspiring garden designers.

The high-profile design includes a ground-level catwalk, which leads visitors onto the terrace. The clever layout of the luxurious outdoor furniture with custom-made planters shows that privacy and 'seeing and being seen' can go well together. The seating at the high bar tables at the glass balustrade provides interaction with passers-by downstairs on the Oude Markt. The lounge sofas on the terrace by the Meuse have been placed so that everyone has a view of the water. Pure Outside Design deliberately chose large round planters including 4-metre-high Magnolias to give guests a beneficial green feeling. In addition, elongated planters with tall grasses create a garden room effect. Pure Outdoor Design succeeded in adding a cosmopolitan feel to the region's living room with the new roof terrace.
