The graceful setting of the old town hall of the city of Venlo and the adjoining atmospheric Market Square is the place to be for music lovers from all over the world to enjoy international classical (opera) music. Since 2012, Viva Classic Live has therefore become an integral part of the Dutch artistic calendar and every year classical music lovers are touched by Baritone Sef Thissen and world-famous top soloists. The multi-day festival is traditionally supported by The New Symphonics and Coro Classico led by Maurice Luttikhuis. The chief guest for this edition is Eva-Marie Westbroek. She has performed on every major stage in the world. She played a leading role in an opera at London's Royal Opera House and was artist in residence with the Concertgebouw Orchestra for a year. Besides Westbroek, Mexican tenor Hector Sandoval also returns.
