The graceful setting of Venlo's old town hall and the adjoining atmospheric Marktplein is the perfect place for music lovers from all over the world to enjoy international classical (opera) music. Since 2012, Viva Classic Live has been an integral part of the Dutch artistic calendar and every year classical music lovers are moved by Baritone Sef Thissen and world-famous top soloists such as the three top tenors Antonello Palombi, Hector Sandoval and Frank van Aken. As in 2018, the world-famous soprano Cristina Pasaroiu will also undoubtedly provide a highlight during Viva Classic Live. We also see Thijs van Leer. The flautist, pianist, organist, singer, composer, arranger, music teacher and bandleader gained international fame in the 1970s with the group Focus and the solo albums entitled Introspection. The multi-day festival is traditionally supported by The New Symphonics and Coro Classico, conducted by Maurice Luttikhuis.

As in previous years, you can enjoy a delicious dinner prior to the concert at Old Dutch, Central or D'n Dorstigen Haen. Each restaurant serves its own menu. The menus will be announced on the websites of the restaurants two weeks before the concert series.
Please note! Bikmik does not serve dinner in advance but offers a luxury drinks board with wine/drink arrangement during the concert.
