In 1993, legendary grunge band Nirvana was at the height of their fame, and that same year they were invited to perform on MTV's "Unplugged" series. On 18 November, Nirvana entered the stage of Sony Music Studios in New York City, where they played a set that would go down in music history. They opened with a cover of David Bowie's "The Man Who Sold the World", which immediately set the tone for the rest of the show: stripped-down, raw and emotionally charged.

Frontman Kurt Cobain's voice was in top form and his performance was filled with a sense of vulnerability and pain that was always the hallmark of his songwriting.

Sadly, this Unplugged performance would be one of Nirvana's last. Just five months later, Cobain was found dead in his Seattle home, marking the tragic end of one of the most influential bands of the 1990s.

Legendary Albums live presents the LA-Live band with a poignant remake of this one of the most iconic and beloved performances in rock history.

The Maas is an inspiration, a lover that flows through the heart of Venlo. Just as the Maaspoort is also the beating heart of the city. The Maas is lively, beautiful, energetic and on the move. The gate stands for the explorer. The guide. This one is always open to something new. Something challenging with a hint of rebel. This one leads you to new inspiration, (dis)excitement and enjoyment.
