The Chicago Funk pays tribute to the music of Earth, Wind & Fire. Finalist in the second season of the SBS6 television programme 'The Tribute, Battle of the Bands', where they received high praise from the audience!

The love for old soul, disco and motown music is in their nature. The show is a whirlwind of hits passing by and last but not least, this party will awaken the disco flame in everyone. In collaboration with American creative director David A Tobin, they have pulled out all the stops to get the right sound, to perfection. "If you close your eyes, Earth, Wind & Fire should be in front of you," is the premise of this 12-piece tribute band.

The original pop group Earth, Wind and Fire is known for Phillip Bailey's high notes, Maurice White's warm sound and Ralph Johnson's recognisable voice. These distinctive voices needed to stay and be honoured. Those voices were found in Dutch artists Nigel Brown, Clayton Peroti and David Goncalves.

The musical tribute sensation will take you back to the 70s and 80s. All hits such as 'Boogie Wonderland', 'In the Stone', 'After the Love has Gone' and of course world hit 'September' will pass by. Pull out your disco outfit and groove along during this crazy show!
