De Maaspoort is the largest theatre and conference venue in North and Central Limburg and opened its doors in 1984. After the renovation and expansion in 2013, a top location with three theatre halls, four meeting rooms, four foyers, a restaurant and a fantastic Scheuten rooftop bar stands in the heart of Venlo as well as on the river Maas. In recent years, De Maaspoort has proven to be not only a stage for various top artists, but also a specialist in organising events. Thus, hundreds of events in all shapes and sizes take place every year. The range and possibilities are unprecedented. From small to large, the right space and atmosphere for every occasion. On 25 January 2016, De Maaspoort won the awards for best event location and best conference location of the southern Netherlands at the Meetings Awards ceremony in Rotterdam.
