Blinden en slechtzienden
Maaspoort is happy to help the blind and visually impaired enjoy an enjoyable theatre visit
Our standard accessibility measures:
- At audio descriptive performances in cooperation with foundation coming to See! receive the blind and visually impaired are given a seat at the front of the auditorium.
- Here you can find all performances with audio description in Maaspoort.
- Guide dogs for the blind are welcome in our theatre.
- Companion pass: Companions with a companion pass pay a reduced rate.
- Ground floor entrance: Visitors can enter via the ground floor to avoid crowds and stairs.
Additional accessibility measures during performances with a blind interpreter:
- Live audio description is available through a blind interpreter.
- Order your drink in advance to avoid the intermission crowds.
- Join the 'meet & feel' introduction: feel costumes and scenery, and meet the cast for a complete picture of the performance.
- Speak to the cast during the 'meet & feel introduction'. This will help you understand the characters perfectly.
Assistance dogs and service dogs are welcome!
Guests with an assistance dog (guide dog, assistance dog, signal dog, guide dog in training) are welcome in our theatre, restaurant and Scheuten rooftop bar.

Dit zijn onze standaard toegankelijkheidsmaatregelen:
- Blindengeleidenhonden zijn van harte welkom in ons theater.
- Begeleiderspas: Begeleiders met een begeleiderspas betalen een gereduceerd tarief.
- Ingang begane grond: Bezoekers kunnen via de begane grond naar binnen om drukte en trappen te vermijden.
Assistentiehonden en hulphonden zijn welkom!
Gasten met een assistentiehond (blindengeleidehond, hulphond, signaalhond, geleidenhond in opleiding) zijn van harte welkom in ons theater, ons restaurant en Scheuten rooftop bar.
