Every Tuesday, Open Space at Maaspoort is open to individual creators and collectives.

No classes. No set programme. No weekly rehearsal space for existing groups.

Instead, it’s a place to create, experiment, explore, brainstorm and meet other creators. The hall is available if you need space, but sometimes all you really need is a table, a couple of chairs and a can of soft drink to develop an idea further.

There’s always someone on hand to bounce ideas off. About your work, but also about everything else involved. How do you get a project onto the programme? How do you reach an audience? Where can you find funding? Who should you have a chat with? At Maaspoort, BACKSTAGE and RESONANZ, we can help you think through programming, marketing, fundraising, visibility, collaborations and finding the right people and venues.

And there’s a good chance there’s a Maaspoort programmer about somewhere. You never know when that might come in handy.
