The legendary phenomenon of the Edinburgh Fringe Festival is finally coming back to the Netherlands! This groundbreaking British theatre show combines the world of Norse mythology with professional wrestling. The Telegraph described it as 'the perfect way to tell this story'. Shakespearean drama is combined with raw, physical battles, performed by actors who wrestle professionally.

In Mythos: Ragnarök, we follow Loki, Thor and Freyja in a humorous, energetic and surprisingly moving retelling of the well-known Norse sagas. The gods face an all-decisive choice: work together to build a new world, or perish in the apocalyptic battle of Ragnarök. The makers combine the dramatic eloquence of William Shakespeare with the raw tension of live combat, performed by a unique cast of actors trained in professional wrestling.

The result is an evening of spectacular action, impressive handmade costumes and a compelling original soundtrack by composer Kjell Braaten, known for Wardruna and Vikings: Valhalla. After each performance, there will be a Meet & Greet with cast and crew.

Written, directed and produced entirely independently by lead actor Ed Gamester, the show has played over 300 times worldwide. Dare to get close?
