Designed by Pure Outdoor Design

The Rooftop Bar was designed and realised by Pure Outdoor Design. The driving forces behind Pure Outdoor Design are Barbara Sprengers (responsible for styling) and Erwin Stam (responsible for design).

Erwin Stam was a guest on RTL4 Eigen Huis en Tuin as one of the 10 most inspiring garden designers. The sophisticated design includes a ground-level walkway leading visitors to the terrace. The clever layout of the luxurious outdoor furniture with custom-made planters shows that privacy and 'seeing and being seen' can go well together. Seating at the high standing tables along the glass balustrade allows for interaction with passers-by down on the Oude Markt. The lounge sofas on the terrace by the Meuse are positioned so that everyone has a view of the water. Pure Outdoor Design deliberately chose large, round planters with 4-metre-high magnolias to give guests a calming, green feeling. In addition, elongated planters with tall grasses create a garden room effect. With the new roof terrace, Pure Outdoor Design succeeded in giving the region's living room a cosmopolitan feel.
